For allmost 30 years, Endress+Hauser was present in Chile through a representative. In year 2000 it is decided to give a new impulse to the company and to install an associated company, Endress+Hauser Chile Ltda. with offices in Santiago and at the moment also in Concepcion. In these 12 years the sales have been quadruplicated, taking us to the place number one in the chilean instrumentation market. |

The service organization has 12 years of experience, taking in account that the Endress+Hauser office started business in 2000. A good general competence is present in all measurement principles, including Fieldbuses, Gamma, Inventory Control and Tank Gauging projects. the employees have been trained in Production Centers in Europe and also attended to System and Gauging Training in Argentina and will regulary join Service Training Seminars in Argentina, conducted by Production Centers service people. The service department in Chile is capable to provide customer training. We also offer Calibration by means of a third party supplier.

Chile is the most important copper mining country in the world, for this reason we have our main customers and projects in this industry: Codelco, Minera Escondida (BHP Billiton), SQM, Enaex and others. We have also been awarded instrumentation for Pulp&Paper industry projects like Valdivia and Nueva Aldea. WWW industry also choose us as instrument suppliers in projects like La Farfana and El Trebal and we are starting to have presence in Oil&Gas industry through projects like Tank Gauging in Enap. Our presence in the food industry is also important with customers like Nestle, Soprole and Iansa.
