Systematic reduction in energy costs
Due to the economic situation, only 30 per cent of the manufacturing companies in Germany invested in energy efficiency in 2009. A survey of German Energy Agency (dena) with decision makers from industry and trade in the context of the “energy efficiency” initiative showed, however, that over 60 per cent of the companies want to invest in energy saving measures after the crisis.
