Career Chance Information for Beginners

The career information day on July 26, 2014, at Endress+Hauser

More than 125 young people are presently in training or studies at Endress+Hauser Maulburg. In order to react to the increasing demand for qualified junior staff, the family company offers many different possibilities of starting a career. Last Saturday (July 26, 2014), the instrumentation manufacturer hosted a career information day at its training department facilities at Hauptstraße 15 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Endress+Hauser provides an array of options for an apprenticeship in technical-commercial occupations. The commercial area is covered by the industrial clerk apprenticeship. The success story of “Studium+” enables young people to graduate from four study courses, i.e. electrical engineering, sensor technology, general informatics and mechanical engineering, at different universities with a bachelor’s degree.

Attractive learning

The shortage of skilled associates is a great challenge for the future. Director of Human Resources, Wilfried Köning: “It is becoming more difficult to fill jobs in the technical field. We are investing in education to stay successful.” Jens Kröger, Department Manager HR Development: “In order to get junior staff, we offer a wide range of apprenticeships and study programs.” This year, training and advanced training will move to its new facility and gain more space for attractive learning.

Individual counseling

At the career information day on July 26, 2014, young people could get information about different apprenticeships and study programs in a comprehensive manner. In addition, they had the opportunity of getting to know the study courses of the German sales company and the IT competence center in Weil am Rhein. From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., visitors sought individual counseling from trainers, apprentices as well as students. Food and drinks were also provided.
