In this training module (basic level) we will have a look at a soft drink production to learn about the specialties of food production with respect to hygienic regulations, FDA recommendations, product quality and energy/raw material consumption.

Content

  • Participants get in touch with product mixing and recipe management as well as the cleaning of the production unit

  • They will learn how to automate these processes with respect to product quality, efficiency and cost reduction

Objectives

  • Understand the different function blocks of a typical soft drink production

  • Be able to judge if the respective measurement instruments and automation components are correctly selected, mounted and used

  • Anyone who wants to get an overview about instrumentation in food production and smart automation concepts
