  • In the theoretical part the following content is covered:
    Typical applications with WirelessHART, Radio technology basics, WirelessHART technology, FieldCare and FDT/DTM for WirelessHART.

  • Security concepts behind WirelessHART, Basic integration of WirelessHART data in a higher application.

  • In the practical part the following content is covered:
    Connecting a WirelessHART Adapter, Commissioning of a WirelessHART Adapter with DTM technology.

  • Commissioning of a WirelessHART network, Integration of field devices via WirelessHART in a higher application, troubleshooting of a WirelessHART network.


  • Designing a basic WirelessHART network, commissioning it and integrating data into a higher-level application.

  • Furthermore a focus will be troubleshooting an existing network.

Evaluation methodology

Participants are given time to work with the various components of a WirelessHART network.

We put emphasis on a balanced approach to theory and practice as well as a vendor-neutral atmosphere.

Mornings are spent learning the theoretical background and afternoons with the actual components and integration of the field devices into the system.

Almost half the course is spent on giving you ample opportunity to use what you have learned in hands-on tasks taken straight from our experience.
