Training with practical experience: Life Sciences industry
The correct instrumentation in hygienic applications, measurement technology and fieldbus protocols
This training is dedicated to the Life Sciences Industry and involves all elements of instrumentation including measurement, digital communication, process control and Life Cycle Management (LCM). It is practical based in order for trainees to get hands on experience with all of the various tools involved in instrumentation.
For training dates, please get in contact with us.
Measurement technologies used for Life Sciences industry, digital communication, process control and Life Cycle Management
Field device technologies, selection, sizing, installation and set-up. Digital communication and configuration tools
Process Control procedures, open and closed loop control, Cleaning In Place (CIP) cycle
Life Cycle Management, W@M and data management with CompuCal
Understand the measuring principles of each field device used for the biofermentation and CIP process on the training rig. Importance of appropriate selection, sizing, installation and set-up
Use of the configuration tools FieldCare and Field Xpert and understand how to communicate to each field device
Learn the procedures and preparation for the operation of the bioreactor and secondly the sequences involved in the CIP cycle
Know the basic components within the control loops and the two different control methods: Open loop control and closed loop control
The different features of LCM will be understood using the Internet based tool (W@M) and the data management software CompuCal to show access for each device on the training rig
Who should attend?
Everybody who is requiring greater awareness and understanding of measurement and control in hygienic applications
People searching for current industrial best practice in terms of equipment operation
Hands on in small groups
