The “Smart Water Company of the Year” category is devoted to companies that are making a major contribution to digitalization in the water industry. Endress+Hauser was nominated for, among other things, its Memosens and Liquiline technologies, which digitalize the measurement values in the sensor and transfer them inductively, without a contacting connection, to the transmitter.
In addition, important joint efforts such as participation in the German-Sino research project “Semizentral” underscore the significance of Endress+Hauser’s analytics strategy. Semizentral is an innovative approach to improving the water system infrastructures in mega cities.
More than 1,000 patents in the area of liquid analysis furthermore illustrate Endress+Hauser’s strong focus on innovation. “Our innovations are designed to improve our customers’ processes and products. We’re thus extremely pleased to be one of the four nominees among the many companies that were under consideration,” says Dr. Manfred Jagiella, CEO of Endress+Hauser Conducta and member of the Executive Board at the Endress+Hauser Group.
The Global Water Award was established in 2006 by the international trade publication Global Water Intelligence and recognizes companies that are making an impact on the international water industry through advances in technology. The awards are presented during the Global Water Summit, an international conference attended by more than 650 participants each year.
